Tournament Information

The Masters Golf Tournament, held annually at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, is one of the most prestigious events in professional golf. Known for its iconic green jacket awarded to the winner, it attracts the world's top golfers and features the beautiful yet challenging course. The following info will help you navigate your stay.

Masters Policies

Etiquette: The Masters Tournament is an international competition and the contestants are considered invited guests. Everyone should be treated with courtesy and respect. Patrons are expected to behave with the utmost dignity and consideration at all times. In exchange for the privilege of viewing one of golf's greatest spectacles it is anticipated that you will act courteously and display equal encouragement to all participants. Bad manners will not be tolerated. You should be quiet when silence is required, remain stationary while a shot is being executed and adhere to instructions by officials. Players should never be accosted even if they are acquaintances. Any excessive noise or shouting (e.g. You're the Man!, etc.) will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal. At NO time should you ever go "under the ropes" for whatever reasons -- ONLY use crosswalks.

Autographs: A No Autograph Policy will be enforced on the Golf Course at all times. Signing will be allowed ONLY on the parking lot side of the Clubhouse.

Cameras: Cameras are allowed during the Practice Rounds ONLY on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. NO cameras of any kind during Tournament Play.

Cell Phones: Cell Phones, Pagers, PDAs and/or any electronic devices are strictly prohibited at all times.

Chairs: Folding arm chairs and rigid type chairs/stools are prohibited. The Augusta National offers chairs for sale on the course. Guests may not carry more than two chairs at a time and may not run to put out chairs.

Bags & Purses: No pocketbooks, purses, backpacks, personal bags, etc. larger than 10" wide by 5" deep will be allowed on the grounds. All items are subject to search.

Parking: Parking for the tournament is provided on a first come, first served basis. Signs will direct you to the entrance gates. Parking lot gates will be closed when the lots are full. There are alternative parking sites along Washington Road.

Prohibited Items: Cell phones, Cameras (on tournament days), Bags larger than 10"x10"x12", Alcoholic beverages, Folding armchairs, Weapons (regardless of permit), Coolers, Signs, Voice recorders, Strollers, Golf shoes with metal spikes

Attire: Appropriate clothing should be worn at all times. Golf shoes with metal spikes are prohibited.

Autograph Policy: Autographs are only allowed in areas adjacent to the Practice Range and on the Par 3 course during the Par 3 Contest.

Lost and Found: It is located across from the main Masters Golf Shop and is open from 8:00 am to 7:30 pm daily.

Methods of Payment Accepted: Cash and credit cards are accepted at all concession stands and golf shops. ATM's are available as well.

Par 3 Contest: An informal contest will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 pm on the Par 3 course.
